Telehandlers over 3t SWL require High Risk Work Licencing. Previously classified as cranes these machines now have their own classification. This is High Risk Equipment & operators need to be properly trained & licenced.
High Risk Work Licence issued is for Telehandlers of any capacity.
*** Holders of “CN” or above crane licence can still operate Telehandlers over 3t S.W.L.
At the successful completion of this course, participants will be able to safely inspect & operate a
Telehandler. Course contents include:
Training is a combination of theory, practical & assessment—24 hours over three days.
On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a Nationally Recognised
Statement of Attainment for 11249NAT Licence to Operate a Non-Slewing Telehandler. A notice of
satisfactory assessment is issued & the applicant is required to take this to any Australia Post outlet
within 60 days, along with 100 points of ID & Worksafe licence fee.
