An Elevated Work Platform with a nominal reach of 11 metres or more requires that the operator have Worksafe Licencing. Smaller EWP operation still requires the employer to provide adequate information, instruction & training to their employees. EWP operation is often the most effective method to safely work at heights. A National “High Risk” Licence for EWP allows for operation of machines of any configuration & size Australia wide.
At the successful completion of this course, participants will be able to safely inspect & operate a forklift. Course contents include:
Training is a combination of theory, practical & assessment—16 hours over two days.
On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a Nationally Recognised
Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0005—Licence to Operate a Boom Type Elevating Work
Platform.
A notice of satisfactory assessment is issued & the applicant is required to take this to
any Australia Post outlet within 60 days, along with 100 points of ID & WorkSafe licence fee.
