Overhead Travelling Cranes that are remote or pendant controlled and have no more than three functions do not require certification for the operator. However, OH&S legislation requires employers to provide adequate & safe instruction to operators of this equipment. An employer must not allow an employee to operate a crane without proper training.
At the completion of this course applicants will be able to demonstrate safe & effective operation of pendant or remote controlled overhead cranes. Statement of Completion issued to participants.
