Course Overview

Work in Confined Spaces is one of the most dangerous tasks performed in the workplace.
On average 15 workers are killed in Australia Each year whilst working in confined spaces.
Because of this, training is compulsory and employers are obligated to ensure training for the
employees is current and up to date.

At the completion of this course, applicants will be able to safely identify confined spaces, hazards applicable to confined spaces, and methods to control these hazards.

What Do I Do On The Day?

  • Training is a combination of theory and practical — 8 hours.

What Do I Get On Completion Of The Course?

On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces and a wallet-sized card.
The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance (www.usi.gov.au).

What Do I Bring/Wear
  • Students will be required to present photo I.D on arrival.
  • Wear normal casual clothing and enclosed footwear.
  • All training materials supplied by Licence Training Australia.

  • Students will be provided with morning tea and coffee.
  • Kitchen facilities are available to people who wish to bring their own lunch, or alternatively, there are cafés and lunch bars within close proximity.
